ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

For CITY OF FERNLEY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (OWNER):

Sealed bids will be received by the CITY OF FERNLEY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT for the 2010 Analytical Support Contract at the office of The City of Fernley, 595 Silver Lace Blvd., Fernley, Nevada, until 2:00 p.m. location time on Friday, March 5, 2010 and then at said office publicly opened and reviewed and compared. The contract will be considered for award on Wednesday, March 17^th, 2010 the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting.

The contract is for the comprehensive analytical support for the City’s Water and Wastewater Systems. The complete description of analytical support required is described in the technical specifications of this advertisement.

Bids will be accepted on a per analysis test basis. Bid packages shall also include any miscellaneous charges such as minimal hourly charges, travel charges and cost for courier service to and from Reno. The bids shall be selected based on the review of the following items:

Although the review will be based on the items listed above, no proposal will be accepted from an Analytical Firm who is not able to provide all the required analysis with or without the assistance of a subcontract within the industry standard reporting times.

Special Requirements:

All submitting Laboratories must be and must maintain Laboratory Certifications from State of Nevada, Division of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Water Quality Planning, Environmental Laboratory Services. A copy of your current certification shall be provided with the proposal package.
