    Skyridge Outdoor Market Opens May 23, 2013 at 4:00 pm by Mary Jean Kelso As a service to the community, longtime Fernley Farmer’s Market Manager, Lisa Young (assisted by Lori Jones), is organizing this summer’s Skyridge Outdoor Market. Sponsored by Brigitte Schoofs, owner of Grate Thyme Kitchen, the event will occur every Thursday from May 23 through September 12 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (except for the 4th of July). Local growers, artists, musicians, and crafters will be on hand with fresh produce, art, products and entertainment Thursday evenings in the Skyridge Plaza, 150 E. Main Street, Fernley, Nevada. “Most of the money will go back into the local economy by vendors staying overnight and using area services,” Young says. “Other people throughout Northern Nevada will benefit through a blood draw. Fernley High School will receive some funds generated by the Market.” United Blood Service is scheduled to take donations at the opening on May 23. Potential donors are e
