Fernley Swimming Pool District
The Fernley Swimming Pool is operated by the Fernley Swimming Pool District (FSPD), a political subdivision of Lyon County. The Swimming Pool District owns and operates the indoor swimming pool, outdoor Splash Park, and vast picnic grounds.
The FSPD is a separate legal and tax entity and is not controlled by the City of Fernley. An elected board of trustees made up of Fernley residents oversees the operations and expenditures to maintain the pool.
