If you’re just starting a company, SilverFlume's New Business Checklist tool informs you of the licenses necessary to get your company off the ground. The operating wizard guides you through each licensing process in the correct order, eliminating guesswork. You can also opt to receive electronic renewal notifications for each license, providing plenty of time to renew before the due date.
SilverFlume collects Common Business Registration (CBR) data, which is basic information such as your name, email, organization, and contact details that nearly every Nevada governmental agency requires. All SilverFlume partners can access your CBR data at the click of a button. The integrated service enables you to enter the information just once when interacting with different agencies, helping all parties save time and effort. If you haven’t completed your CBR profile yet, we strongly urge you to log into SilverFlume Nevada's Business Portal to finish the process.
SilverFlume also offers free Digital Operating Agreement software to LCCs, whose partners can electronically collaborate, document, formalize and store decisions related to roles, values and goals, contributions, allocation of profits and losses, transfers of interest, and other common areas – all at no charge. If you have questions about any of these features, contact customer support at (775) 684-5708 or via email.
Businesses that sell, transfer, lease, or rent tangible property in the State must register with the Department of Taxation for a sales use tax account. Once you have been issued a business license by the Secretary of State, contact the Department of Taxation to determine if you are required to register for the sales use tax account. If required, the completed Nevada registration form stamped by the Department of Taxation must be returned to the City Clerk's office with the application.
