Fees - Two separate payments are required for the U.S. Dept. of State & the City of Fernley.

Travel Restrictions

A passport book is valid for travel by land, air and sea.

A passport card is valid for travel only by land and sea crossing between the US. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. Not valid for travel by air.

Payment Methods

A check or money order made payable to the US Department of State is required for the passport application with any optional expedite fees. 

A separate payment must be made payable to the City of Fernley for the execution fee, photos, and optional expedited postage to the passport agency. We will accept a check, money order, cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.  Please be advised there is a 4% fee to run a card.

*Adult fees are applied to a person 16 years old and older.

**Minor fees are applied to a person under 16 years old.
